Dr. Sarah Obican earns Culture Coin for consistently putting patients first

Sarah Obican, MD, a specialist in Maternal-Fetal Medicine for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, cares for women with high-risk pregnancies and specializes in diagnosing and treating fetal conditions.

For consistently putting her patients first, Dr. Obican recently earned recognition as Culture Champion.

As part of her commitment to her patients, she never hesitates to find a way to expedite the care for her patients. Often her response is, “I will see them during my lunch hour” or “add them to the end of my schedule.” She frequently works nights and weekends, all to provide accessible and compassionate care to her patients.

She never fails to find ways to improve the patient experience for each person who steps foot in the USF Health Obstetrics and Gynecology clinics. In doing so, she embodies the core values of USF Health. She makes life better for her patients every day.
