Cimarron Lagor is considered a remarkable individual who epitomizes the perfect combination of a superb leader and a compassionate nurse. As a clinical manager in the Department of Pediatrics, Lagor has been instrumental in implementing numerous programs that have significantly impacted the lives of clinical employees and patients.

For being a shining example of what leadership in health care should look like, Cimarron Lagor was presented with a USF Health Culture Coin on Jan. 30 by Mark G. Moseley, MD, MHA, FACEP, associate vice president for clinical affairs at USF Health and president of the USF Tampa General Physicians, and by Renée Dubault, assistant vice president for Clinical Affairs and CEO of USF Health, for her compassionate heart, unwavering commitment, and exceptional leadership skills make her an invaluable asset to the Department of Pediatrics and USF Health, the leaders said.

Leck, clinic nurse supervisor, Department of Pediatrics at the Curran Children’s Health Center and the Brandon Health Plex.

One of the most notable programs that Lagor introduced was the positive recognition program for Employee of the Month. Years later, this tradition continues to thrive, and employees are forever grateful for this opportunity to be recognized and appreciated for their hard work.
