H.E, the President of Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, the General Supervisor of King Fahd University Hospital in Al-Khobar, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rubaish, launched the first awareness campaign for multiple sclerosis on Shawwal 29, 1443 AH corresponding to May 30, 2022 AD, which coincides with the International Day of Multiple Sclerosis, and will last for two days at the University Hospital. 

IAU President explained that the activation of multiple sclerosis awareness campaign reflects the university hospital's keenness to educate the community about this type of disease, and to put all capabilities and awareness programs for use by people affected with this disease, noting that the number of beneficiaries of the previous awareness campaign programs reached 400, in addition to that the event includes 11 introductory pillars with participation of 120 volunteers aiming to develop the life of the multiple sclerosis patients and facilitate procedures for them in all sites.
