Master’s degrees at the University of the Balearic Islands are now much more affordable thanks to the Balearic Islands Government’s decision to reduce the fees considerably.

On June 20, the Balearic Islands Government approved the public tuition fees for bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of the Balearic Islands for the 2022-2023 academic year. This year there will be a considerable reduction in the prices of master’s degrees that will enable students to carry out regulated professional activities.

The price per credit for a master’s degree will be €15.63, which is significantly lower than the previous average of €25. Since 2015, the cost of studies at the University of the Balearic Islands has been reduced as a means of guaranteeing equal opportunities to all students. In the 2018-2019 academic year, a 10 per cent reduction was applied to both bachelor’s and master’s degree courses, and in the case of master’s degrees that lead to regulated professional activities, the reduction was 15 per cent.

At the request of the University, the terms of payment of tuition fees have also been modified and the fee for the issuance of the university card has been eliminated.
