IAU's Third Consultative Meeting with the Non-Profit Sector

In the presence of H.E. President of Imam AbdulRahman Bin Faisal University, Dr. Abdulla Bin Muhammad Al-Rubaish, the Deanship of Community Service & Sustainable Development has held the third consultative meeting with the non-profit sector and the civil society organizations (CSOs) on Wednesday 26/3/1442H corresponding to 11/1/2020AD via video conference in the presence of H.E. Vice-President of Human Rights Commission Mr.Abdel Azizi Al-Khaiyal, Vice-President for Studies & Community Service Prof.Abdulla Bin Hussein Al-Qadi, Dean of Community Service & Sustainable Development Prof.Fatimah Bint Abdulla Al-Melhem, Vice-Dean of Community Service & Sustainable Development Dr.Youssef Al-Rashid, representatives of charity association in the Eastern Province and deans of colleges and the university affiliates. 

 

H.E. President of Imam AbdulRahman Bin Faisal University Dr.Abdulla Bin Muhammad Al-Rubaish has welcomed the presence of H.E. the Vice-President of Human Rights Commission Mr.Abdel Azizi Al-Khaiyal, the representatives of charity organizations, and the representatives of a number of CSOs as well as the deans of colleges and supportive deanships pointing out that the university has been always keen to cooperate with the non-profit sector to achieve community partnership through qualitative initiatives that seek community needs sustainably; H.E. further explained that the university is keen within its philosophy and vision to serve and develop the community being a crucial pivot within the strategic planning priorities for achieving the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

 H.E. Vice-President of Human Rights Commission Mr.Abdel Azizi Al-Khaiyal has stated, during his participation in the third virtual consultative meeting, that the commission seeks to nationalize partnerships for community service in order to achieve Saudi Vision 2030.

The Vice-President for Studies & Community Service Prof. Abdulla Bin Hussein Al-Qadi stated that the university does its best to stick together with the community and interact with its needs with open arms.

H.E. Dean of Community Service & Sustainable Development Prof.Fatimah Bint Abdulla Al-Melhem presented an overview of the deanship reviewing the most important community partnerships that the university has concluded with the community.

 The Vice-Dean of Community Service & Sustainable Development Dr.Youssef Bin Omar Al-Rashid has reviewed during the virtual meeting fields of community service.

During the meeting, representatives of the non-profit sector and the CSOs have reviewed a brief about their organizations explaining the vision, mission, services, projects and initiatives offered to the community and the expected aspects of cooperation with the university.
